Verdict

Las Verglas Star won this a year ago from a 5lb higher mark but, though his young rider's claim will help, he has had 15 subsequent races without winning and prefers plenty of give. Redact started his career in 2011 with a double but hasn't won since. He's consequently dropped to a lowly mark and was staying on strongly over a mile at Ascot last time. The progressive Ennistown dropped back to this trip to record a comfortable victory at Haydock for which he's been raised 8lb and the vote goes to CROQUEMBOUCHE, who is in tremendous form and though racing at this level for the first time won so easily at Bath that a hat-trick beckons.
