Verdict

Gordon Elliott has won the last two of these and is doubly represented this time. Both Knight's Parade and Captain Von Trappe will be making their debuts over fences and though the former is the higher rated of the pair over hurdles the latter could prove best on this occasion as the winning point-to-pointer looks to have more scope. Don Vincenzo was taking on smart opposition at Tipperary and his jumping left plenty to be desired Frontline also made mistakes when runner-up to My Direction at Gowran and will need to jump better as FULL CRY will take some beating. Henry De Bromhead's winning hurdler ran in snatches when fancied for a similar race to this at Navan but he's had little experience and with improvement expected looks the one to be on. Old Storm should make progress from his debut over fences at Tramore last week and is no forlorn hope in a tricky race.
