In depth

Verdict

Tully East made a successful debut over hurdles on heavy going at Listowel and was stepped up to Grade 3 company at Tipperary but couldn't handle the quicker ground and was beaten a long way. This is more his level. Prince Kup won a maiden hurdle at Gowran in Good style but didn't show the expected improvement at Wexford so it's DEFINITE EARL who looks the one to be on. He had some smart form against strong opposition before gaining his first success over timber at Ballinrobe in May and if ready for this will take some beating. Enda Bolger quickly sends the four year old Have A Few handicapping after his hard fought victory at Listowel in September and he's likely to make further progress.
