Verdict

Six of the eleven runners arrive in winning form. False Economy showed just what a smart hurdler he is when beating Un Beau Roman comfortably at Limerick last week while Far Away So Close reverts to hurdling on a 9lb lower mark than over fences though he only had one rivals to beat at Limerick. The assessor had a difficult task with CITY SLICKER, who landed a maiden in emphatic style here in May and could have been let in lightly so is given the verdict. Bishopslough is rated just 2lb lower than the selection and wasn't quite as impressive at Thurles while Alpha And Omega has been raised 7lb for beating the maiden Hop In by a head at Naas.
