Verdict

John Gleeson saddled Just Wait And See to win the opening race on Tuesday but this is a much better contest. Cantlow was just touched off in this a year ago and, though it looks a stronger race this time, the track and trip obviously suits the veteran. He's closely matched with stable companions Auvergnat and Josies Orders on several lines of form and the former did best of these who finished behind subsequent Aintree hero Tiger Roll in the Cheltenham Cross Country. BLESS THE WINGS fell in that race at the Festival before pulling up in the Irish National but he went to Aintree for the Grand National and ran a tremendous race to finish third behind his stablemate. That's likely to have taken plenty out of him but he takes his races well and wouldn't be coming here unless thought capable of winning.
