Paul Carberry rode MARSHIM for the first time at Wexford on Saturday and Walter Power's charge gained his maiden success on his 17th start over timber. He won with plenty of authority and though this is a slightly better race and he has a penalty to carry he's expected to complete a quick double. Underdefloorboards was in fine form at this time a year ago scoring at Fairyhouse before a very good runner-up there but he has a long absence and a big weight to overcome. Courtncatcher has been threatening to win for some time and was unlucky to be badly impeded at Cork last time but he'd been beaten by Serra Nova on that track previously and the latter should come out on top again. Followmeuptocarlow was in fine shape when last seen in February but may just need the run.
