Gilgamboa makes his handicap debut after just two runs but deserves his rating after a fine effort in a very strong novice hurdle here three weeks ago. Truckin All Night appeared to enjoy stepping up to 3m at Clonmel and a 7lb rise shouldn't pose too much of a problem. MIREYA won on heavy ground on the Flat at Galway and was staying on strongly over a trip too short when reverting to hurdles at Navan. She's still progressing and looks the one to beat. Band Of Blood ran very well in a Grade 3 novices' event at Cork and won't lack for stamina but Barneys Honour has been chasing, though scored over this trip the last time he ran over timber.
