Flyboy makes a quick reappearance after staying on strongly over a mile at Nottingham during the week. Three-year-olds have a good record in this so the very consistent Hibou has a chance despite being headed close home over slightly shorter last time. New handler Roger Fell has inherited an in-form performer in Age of Elegance, who has completed a double for David Loughnane and still doesn't look badly treated. NOVELTY SEEKER returned to form at York in July and is well up to this class at his best. The forecast rain would greatly aid his cause and he's handed a tentative vote. Mysterial is a fast-ground specialist who had those conditions at Pontefract last time. If the going remains quick he would have an obvious chance of completing a double.
