In depth

Verdict

AL MUHEER has been put up 4lb for his recent win at Musselburgh but Ruth Carr's son of Diktat is clearly in good heart at present and by no means badly treated on past form - he can score again. Layla's Hero has left Dandy Nicholls for John Quinn but wouldn't be far away if rediscovering his best form, while Who's Shirl has run some of her best races here and could make the frame. Roninski is preferred to Robert The Painter of the three-year-olds as the return to 7f is probably in his favour.
