      Verdict

      Island Music, Poppy¿s Rose and Cassie¿s Choice make the shortlist here, with Island Music looking well treated for her handicap bow, and she can take this. Poppy¿s Rose has won twice and would probably prefer more give in the ground than she has here. She stepped up on a disappointing seasonal re-appearance to finish third last time. She was beaten over nine lengths though and is opposed. Cassie¿s Choice is one of Bryan Smart¿s lesser lights, but she has shown plenty of speed on occasions, and can handle a fast surface. She is yet to win though, and may have to wait a little longer and is likely to come on for her first run of the campaign. Island Music had four runs last season and shaped with promise on each occasion. She finished off the campaign with a good effort in a Musselburgh maiden, and has been given an attractive mark for her handicap bow. Island Music can make a winning seasonal re-appearance.
