PRIMAEVAL is only a token pick in this contest with Wilfred Pickles and Cheers Big Ears others open to improvement. The Fanshawe inmate caught the eye on debut with a solid run at Doncaster but did prove somewhat disappointing at Salisbury next time around. He raced with plenty of greenness but the experience will not have been lost on him and he could be open to any amount of progression. Wilfred Pickles lost by the narrowest possible margin at Newbury and as one of the highest rated performers in the field, he cannot be ignored. Cheers Big Ears represents a yard in form and realistically was not entitled to trouble Euston Square at Leicester on his most recent appearance. Kloof appears not to be progressing and could be flattered by his BHA rating. Nativity could have each-way claims if reproducing the pick of his fast ground form though winning may just be a bridge too far. Localiser will make more appeal once qualifying for handicaps and this step down in trip is a surprise based upon what we have seen thus far. Primaeval is the selection in a race where the market will provide plenty of food for thought.
