Jockeyship should count for plenty in this race so FOLLOW THE SUN is the pick with Gala Sunday and Trouble Mountain others to make appeal. The selection has placed off higher marks than this in the past and with the booking of leading point-to-point rider, Gina Andrews, there is plenty to like about the previous course and distance winner. Gala Sunday has the services of Serena Brotherton. The rider has won on this horse on no fewer than six occasions and if the rain stays away, he is a major player. Trouble Mountain is now twelve years young. He may need a bit more give in the ground to be at his best though does not lack for aptitude. Zapplamation steps up to 1m2f having campaigned largely over a mile. Flora's Pride has become a regular in plating company without troubling the judge. Phantom Serenade was penalised 6lb for taking a seller over course-and-distance. That may make life tough. Chichen Daawe has less mileage than most and whilst exposed as moderate; Lorraine Ellison should know plenty about the mare. With the remainder making only limited appeal; for the winner we return to Follow The Sun.
