In depth

Verdict

An average maiden here with preference going to the two fillies at the bottom of the racecard - Urban Calm and Mistress Twister. The latter possibly has the best bit of form in the race having finished third behind a couple of useful sorts at Thirsk on Tuesday. That was her seasonal reappearance and she looks well capable of following that effort with a win. Urban Calm has shown good consistency on all her runs to date and could appreciate this step up in trip. Fast ground could be a concern though any surface slower than good should suit. A case could be made for Harthead with him showing plenty of ability on occasions but he is on a long losing run which could continue here with Mistress Twister looking the most likely winner.
