Verdict

Boy Dancer, Moonstreaker and Evelith Regent all look capable of getting involved here but we'll take PLENILUNE to win it. Mel Brittain's runner went well in similar conditions to this when last seen out at Ripon last month. That handicap was tougher than this and the Fantastic Light colt should be able to show more now from the same mark. Evelith Regent has been tried at various trips both further and shorter than this, though strangely never before over 10 furlongs. He gets his chance today and as a soft ground bumper winner he should handle the surfacewell, so he is not ruled out. Moonstreaker is another who won't mind the ground and who has already won over the trip on soft at Ripon. His current handicap mark appears to be his biggest issue, while both that and the going will probably mean that while he can go well, Boy Dancer might struggle to get his nose in front. With conditions a concern for a number of others we'll take Plenilune to score.
