In depth

Verdict

Many of these arrive here in good form but one who will be difficult to beat is Amazing Amoray. David Barron's charge had obviously benefited from his juvenile run as he was well supported to land a Leicester maiden on his return and did so with the minimum of fuss. He should go well but those who witnessed DICKIE'S LAD demolish a field of maidens at Nottingham last month won't want to miss him here despite a big weight as he definitely looks one to follow in northern sprints. Zenella makes her seasonal debut after a long break but she scored on her first appearance over this C&D last August and is no forlorn hope. El Viento wasn't at his best at Newmarket last time and can do much better while Indian Ballad wasn't suited by 7f at Haydock and completed a hat-trick over this trip late last summer.
