Verdict

GRAND CANYON should be good enough as he is progressing nicely and should have no problems staying this trip after running on strongly to score over 1m2f at Redcar. Winning hurdler Frederic appeared to find 1m6f just stretching his stamina back on the Flat at Musselburgh after a good run over this trip at Thirsk but course and distance winner Tourtiere does best in Class 6 handicaps and may find a couple of these too good. Wishing Well is still a maiden but ran her best race to date when chasing home Kip here earlier this month while Skiddaw Valleys is taking a drop in class after a close fourth on fast going at Musselburgh.
