Point Of Woods beat Muatadel at Doncaster in June and is only 3lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago but Case Key makes more appeal. Mick Appleby’s runner has come back to form recently and was just beaten off this mark at Thirsk in June. Cieren Fallon’s mount SHORTBACKANDSIDES won over course and distance last month and has had excuses in both starts since. He might be the one to be on in this as appears to have the beating of Me Before You, another who has been successful over track and trip. Searanger is running well but keeps edging up the weights. Pop Telecom is the least exposed but was disappointing last time.
