Verdict

BAHAMIAN DESERT continues to improve and won his third race of the year when successful at Musselburgh last week. There may well be even more to come from David O'Meara's charge back over this longer trip. Clarentine is usually thereabouts without being good enough and it was the same story at Kempton last time but The Wee Barra finally got her head in front at Carlisle recently and is upped only 2lb. Skiddaw Valleys has also won at Carlisle this season and drops back down in class after an outing at Ascot.
