Verdict

Hard Yards caught the eye with a promising debut behind Gale Force Ten at the Curragh but made no improvement when sent back there three weeks later. He's likely to be suited by better ground while Caged Lightning, who couldn't go the early pace over this trip at Limerick before staying on late, will be suited by an extra furlong. Randall's Alannah hasn't shown much to date so a chance is taken on the newcomer STREET PARTY. David Wachman's cheaply-bought Rock Of Gibraltar colt wouldn't have to be a world-beater to make a winning start while Elleval is another to keep an eye on as he is a half-brother to a 1m2f winner and out of a mare from a decent family of milers.
