Verdict

There's little form to go on here though TARLA looks the obvious choice having made a winning debut over timber for Willie Mullins at Punchestown in April. Three times a winning hurdler in France, she looks a future star for the yard and should have enough pace in the testing conditions. It's rare to see Jim Bolger with a five-year-old that has run only once so he must have some faith in An Spailpin Fanach. An expensive purchase, he had just the one run over a mile at Dundalk in December where he was noted making up late ground. Hilary had a couple of poor runs over hurdles before running slightly better back on the Flat including over this C&D but Glade Appeal ran poorly on soft ground at the Curragh last time.
