Amood has dropped a pound but steps up a grade for this having been a beaten favourite in both starts for Archie Watson. Our Lord has shot up the weights having won four of his last five starts but he was successful over course and distance in July on soft going. Clear Spring is running well again but was behind Sir Billy Wright at Thirsk in the summer and Dandy Flame was only fifth off this mark here in August when chasing a hat-trick. THE DALEY EXPRESS was behind Clear Spring at Chepstow last time but got lit up in the early stages and couldn’t quicken inside the final furlong.
