Verdict

STEELCUT won over today's trip at Chester in May and found only one too good in better company over 5f here two runs ago. Matthew Cosham's claim puts him back on a winning mark and, despite only finishing fourth at Warwick on Thursday, he's fancied to return to winning ways in a race where most of his rivals are treading water off their current marks. They include Italian Tom, who usually runs his race without being quite good enough to get his head in front, and Brynfa Boy, who has done all his winning over 5f. Gracie's Games needs soft ground and Desert Icon's only win was back in 2008.
