It's hard to get away from the newcomer WILLOUGHBY, a daughter of Oasis Dream and out of a mare who has produced ten winners including Nathaniel, Playful Act and Great Heavens, all winners at Group 1 level. If she handles the going she can live up to her pedigree and keep up the family tradition. Evening Rain hasn't been capable of a finishing burst though at least we know she handles the ground while Lady Pinnacle caught the eye on her debut at Kempton where she was totally unfancied. Moonlight Sonata looked a certain winner when taking the lead off today's rival Spirited Acclaim at this trip over a mile at Newmarket but was caught right on the line so the drop back looks certain to suit both. Sweet Dream, who finished fifth in that latter event, did better on softer ground at Sandown earlier and isn't out of this.
