    In depth

    Verdict

Our Herbie has taken another drop of 1lb and that can be the trigger to see him home in front here, with Outer Hebrides a danger and both Digital and Roman Quest others shortlisted. The selection was has finished runner up on his last two starts but has performed with plenty on credit on both occasions. He handles this trip well and goes on a sound surface so he gets the vote. Outer Hebrides went well in a Ladies Handicap at Chepstow last week and has previously been muvh higher in the weights, so off a paltry 65 he can go close once more. Roman Quest has chances based on a Sandown second last month although he seems to prefer cut in the ground, while Digital is suited by both trip and ground and is on a mark that can see the veteran get involved, but Our Herbie is the one for us.
