A tricky race to assess with TRULY MAGIC getting the tentative vote ahead of Denton Royal and Singingintherain. Our pick was thrashed last time when tried over 10f, but this drop back to a mile will suit much better jugded on previous efforts over 7f. Fast ground is ideal for the filly, who has dropped to a mark of 56, just 1lb higher than when scoring at Leicester last season. We hope that she is good enough to take advantage. Singingintherain went well enough in defeat over course and distance last time and from the same mark is entitled to get competitive once more in what looks a weaker contest. Mark Rimmer saddles Denton Royal, who drops back to a mile after going close at Brighton last time out. She will want a good clip to be seen to best effect.
