        Verdict

        Lightning Charlie has yet to win on Turf but looked a bit unlucky earlier this month at Newbury. Goring came back to form with a fifth at Ayr while Alizoom is proving consistent, though probably needs to drop a few pounds. PETTOCHSIDE loves the mud and has the excellent Josephine Gordon taking off 3lb. Thereabouts off this mark since winning at Goodwood in May, he deserves to get his head back in front. Foresight is a danger, however, as he won his maiden at Hamilton with the minimum of fuss having shown he handles give in the ground previously at Doncaster and Haydock.
