    Verdict

Twisted, Senses and BOURNE form our short-list with the vote going the way of the Cumani runner. There may well be more to come from Borromeo and Buckie Boy to name but two whilst Lady Drac showed enough in two juvenile starts to believe that she should win races in her classic year. Twisted showed up well in a maiden won by the talented Nehaam on debut and was far from disgraced on his reappearance at Newbury. The concern for this son of Selkirk is his ability to handle this quicker ground although the going was good to firm for his debut at Newmarket in September. Senses stepped up on the form of his debut to run a fair race behind a comfy winner of John Gosden's in London Bridge. Further progress should be forthcoming and he wouldn't need to find much in order to land this. The suggestion is Bourne who finished just outside the places on debut over a mile at Newmarket. He's bred to come into his own over middle distances and beyond so can be expected to step up on the bare form which encourages us to believe that Bourne can assert his supremacy.
