    Verdict

The booking of Simon Walker should ensure that the three-year-old Palisade starts at short odds for this. But his sole victory came in a desperate affair on Polytrack and he's been a beaten favourite in three of his last four runs. All of Zephyros' form is also at a lower level so COMPTON MILL may be the one to be on as he followed up a win at Newmarket with a good run over this course and distance last month and this evening's easier ground will suit. River Dart, on the other hand, really needs quicker going.
