In depth

Verdict

Mighty Matters may well have gone up 11lbs for his latest success at Huntingdon but Charlie Longsdon's gelding has been much improved since joining his current yard and he still looks ahead of the handicapper so is taken to win again, getting the verdict ahead of Beat The Boys and Cetti's Warbler. The last mentioned had to work hard to win at Uttoxeter last time and she may struggle to follow up off her 6lb higher mark today. Alfadora stays well and has a nice racing weight but still has a career high mark to defy, while Killard Point is a consistent performer but may be a shade high in the weights at present. Ice Bucket is open to improvement and could be of interest along with Beat The Boys, who represents the in-form yard of Nigel Twiston-Davies. Mighty Matters still looks to be some way ahead of the handicapper though and he is taken to win again.
