      Verdict

Several of these have failed to figure in handicaps last time having earlier won a maiden. That includes Autumn Tonic, One Man Army and Beat Goes On, who all scored on the all-weather, but DAGHER won at Newcastle in October. The latter was a well beaten fourth at Doncaster on his return but Ryan Moore's presence suggests better is expected dropping down a couple of grades for this. Commodore also drops in class and may figure but Gun Case and Conjuring have struggled to figure so far this season.
