    Verdict

A cracking start to proceedings and a race in which the classic generation have held the upper hand in recent years and they can dominate again with SETA fancied to overcome her low draw and take another step towards fulfilling her undoubted potential. Since disappointing in the Guineas Luca Cumani has trod gently with his filly and this is a significantly tougher Listed race than the one which she won at Warwick last time; she wasn't all that impressive that day but entries in the Group 1 Sun Chariot and Matron Stakes indicate that connections haven't lost their faith in her and the step back up in trip shouldn't pose any problems. Decorative has entries in the same Group 1 contests and is still in the 'could be anything' category following a win in a Nottingham handicap but Long Lashes has something to prove in first time cheekpieces whilst Chachamaidee should be involved but may have to settle for minor honours.
