      Verdict

      Nelson Gay bids for a hat-trick upped in class and raised 7lb having scored at Wolverhampton on his latest start. NOMADIC EMPIRE moves in the opposite direction having raced in Pattern company last year and going close in Listed sprints on a couple of occasions including at Ayr in September. David O’Meara sent out the winner of this in 2019 and his colt gets the vote now handicapping. First Edition was behind the selection on soft ground in October but finished fourth in the Group 2 Mill Reef at Newbury earlier and is preferred to Charlie Fellowes and Fantasy Master on that form.
