Verdict

After running out of steam against Miss Work Of Art at Ascot, MAGIC CITY was held up at Windsor last time. The tactics backfired, however, as Richard Hannon's precocious youngster failed to overhaul Bannock by a neck. It's unlikely the experiment will be repeated and Richard Hughes' mount is expected to have his revenge today. Foxtrot India was back in fourth at Windsor and will struggle to reverse the placings with the first two, while Powerful Wind was a long way behind the selection on debut at Newbury. Pyman's Theory was put in her place at York last time but Sixx and Miss Lahar are open to further improvement and worth noting if the market speaks in their favour.
