In depth

Verdict

Notre Cyborg is given the vote here ahead of Harcas and Itzacliche. Donald McCain's charge let supporters down at Bangor last time out when only fifth behind Andijan. He pulled very hard on that occasion and is better judged on his two previous victories at Stratford. If the young claimer can control him in the early stages today he could prove hard to beat. Harcas disappointed in a handicap last time out but has to be a major threat back in novice company. Itzacliche comes here having had just the one outing under rules in a hunters chase at Cheltenham. If this one is supported take note. Hawksbury Heights looks the best of the rest, but if Notre Cyborg does calm down he should collect first prize.
