    Verdict

    It's difficult to see past GENEROUS PET, who completed his hat-trick by 14 lengths in a conditionals' event at Kelso last week and arrives here unpenalised. Kentucky Star is a major threat as the Punchestown winner has been unlucky not to have scored in the UK and takes a drop in class. Snowed In is 2-42 over hurdles and has gone up 2lb for finishing runner-up at Carlisle and the veteran De Boitron is better over fences. Bryden Boy landed a maiden at Bangor last month but never recoved from a bad mistake at Uttoxeter next time.
