Calliope seems to reserve her best for Cartmel nowadays while Al Muffrih is 0-6 over timber and needs some help from the handicapper. Oasis Prince hasn’t won over hurdles in 10 attempts but won over 2m on the Flat last month and this looks a modest handicap. Follow Your Fire didn’t show much back over the smaller obstacles at Stratford but Kings Creek is back on the mark off which he finished second over course and distance in March having raced mainly over 3m since. DANGER MONEY looked to be running into form at Uttoxeter and, with his yard back among the winners again lately, he looks the one to beat.
