Verdict

TONTO’S SPIRIT is 14lb lower than when scoring at Cartmel a year ago. It would be no surprise to see him turn up at that track again over the bank holiday weekend but he could lead these a merry dance if in the mood. Cawthorne took advantage of a lenient mark over hurdles to complete a hat-trick at Market Rasen last month but is 11lb higher back over fences. First Revolution was a dual course and distance winner in the spring and is preferred to Lost In Montmartre and Pateen of the others.
