A winner over course and distance at the start of the month, THE OGLE GOGLE MAN defied a 7lb rise to win again at Ayr. Iain Jardine’s charge remains on a winning mark despite a further rise in the weights and looks the one to beat in his current form. Ciarabella went close here last month though that was in heavy gong but the unpredictable Dubh Des Champs is preferred on today’s surface if on one of his going days. The remainder are hard to recommend including Gameface though he slips further down the weights.
