In depth

Verdict

Gran Paradiso is at his best here and scored over track and trip last week. He carries a penalty while Ecossais is upped 4lb for winning over a shorter trip at Southwell. But WILLIAM OF ORANGE faced a more difficult task when successful at Catterick recently and Mark Walford’s charge may prove the one to side with in a tight contest. Nortonthorpelegend and Last Goodbye make little appeal on recent efforts.
