    Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for Saif Sareea to make a winning debut over fences, with Ellerslie George and Daldini others who make appeal. Saif Sareea gets on well with today's pilot Rose Davidson and would be the pick of these on hurdles form. Admittedly that does not always translate to chasing ability, but ground conditions and this trip are in the gelding's favour and it is certain that a decent amount of schooling will have taken place, so we will side with him. Ellerslie George is a lightly-raced gelding from the yard of Tom Tate. The trainer does not have a huge string but has his fair percentage of winners and did get this one to land a maiden hurdle at Newcastle last November. He acts on decent ground and was not disgraced on his Hexham chasing debut, but he is probably best watched again here. Daldini is another maiden hurdle winner who enjoys fast ground and comes from a yard who do well at this track. This is also his chasing debut and a win for him would not be a major shock, but on the face of it he has a bit to find with our selection, Saif Sareea.
