Verdict

Joseph O'Brien's pair Mischievous Max and Tree of Knowledge are penalised for bumper and Flat victories respectively. Father Mattie is poor on the level but loks like making a better hurdler judged on a good run at Punchestown in October. FIRST CLASS TICKET led for much of the way over an extra furlong at Punchestown in May and only faded in the closing stages. He gets the vote though Escadron is one to keep an eye on as he makes his debut for Alan Fleming after arriving from the Flat in Germany where he showed potential.
