Verdict

Bendanella ran very poorly here last month but an earlier second place behind Hello Sweetie at Ballinrobe would put him in the frame. Dual hurdles winner Spider Web was beaten a long way on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse in April and didn't get very far when reappearing at Galway last week but looks the type to do better. Adimelo won three bumpers back in 2014 and scored over hurdles the following year. He hasn't fulfilled that potential but still has time on his side. La Bella Vida won a novices' hurdle here in July and hasn't performed badly in handicaps so she can go well on her debut over fences though LOGICAL SONG is the logical choice after just failing to catch Major Destination at Ballinrobe. That was over 2m7f but he'd earlier been narrowly beaten over this sort of trip at Clonmel and the conditions will bring his stamina into play.
