In depth

Verdict

Kirbybroguelantern finished third to Prince Erik in this a year ago and has been running reasonably well over hurdles but lacks the scope of Abbey Glen and Jim Bowie, who are making their chasing debuts but should make the grade. Kusadasi isn't the best of jumpers and Sir Ejay fell at the first on his debut over fences at Downpatrick a week ago where the disappointing Yachvili pulled up. Under The Spell caught the eye on only his second career start at Ballinrobe and is one to note but it's about time DEFINITE ALL STAR was scoring over fences and this can be his day as he again ran well behind the potentially useful Golan Guy at Downpatrick last week.
