Charlie Swan and Nina Carberry make a formidable combination so a good run is expected from newcomer Meister Eckhart, who is related to a couple of decent performers and out of a winning point-to-pointer. He'll do better over jumps at a later stage and is unlikely to have the pace of FIRE BELT, who should lose his maiden tag after finishing runner-up four times including when beaten a short-head at Cork when last seen in October. Noble Pageant doesn't have the same level of form but at least has a fitness advantage having run reasonably well at Listowel a fortnight ago.
