Verdict

Lively Article made a winning debut under Rules at Uttoxeter but has more on his plate here under a penalty. Second on his first run for Richard Newland, Settimo Milanese was a wide-margin winner of a maiden at Uttoxeter next time. That was a conditionals’ race so he doesn’t have a penalty but the form looks nothing special. A drop of rain would not have come amiss for VINNIE LEWIS (NAP) but Harry Whittington’s useful staying chaser should go close in this if fully wound-up. Though not seen since pulling up in the Eider in February, he did show some ability over hurdles a couple of years ago and has improved since.
