In depth

Verdict

Solarmaite is 11lb higher than when scoring over track and trip in April. JACOBS SON makes more appeal as his defeat of Lean On Pete here in the same month looks stronger forrn and Mike Appleby's charge is only 4lb higher today. Chrissycross has won over a mile on the Fibresand but has yet to travel this far and Mister Bob looks to have a better chance having won a maiden race over track and trip on his latest visit to the course. Layla's Boy has also scored on this surface but back in 2012 and arrives out of form.
