Verdict

In race seven, Muntami is selected ahead of Makai and Mahmjra. Greenbelt, who likes it here, has been beaten from his revised mark so maybe has something to find. Muntami stepped up to win over course and distance last time and, even though he has been raised six pounds for that, he is relatively unexposed on the all-weather and can go well again. Mahmjra has also been raised six pounds for a course and distance win and cannot be ruled out. He is closely weighted with Bolckow based on that win. Sand Repeal looked more like his old self when third here last time in a first-time visor and a drop in trip from that run is likely to suit, while Makai looked worth a try at this trip again at Lingfield last time and is not ruled out. Little Richard holds place claims if replicating his best Wolverhampton efforts, Takes Tutu can be given a squeak based on his best efforts of the last 12 months, the lightly-raced Northerner could be open to some improvement on this surface, and, a course and distance winner two runs ago, Tioga Gold is likely to have some supporters.Overall, though, the vote, once again, goes to Muntami.
