Verdict

The veteran La Estrella never figured on his reappearance but was second in this in 2015. Brassbound was well ahead of Monzino when landing last year’s renewal but is up against a couple of higher rated rivals today after a lengthy absence. Stomachion was a smart handicapper in 2014 but has had just the two starts since. Tailed off on both those occasions, it will be a surprise if he can still run up to a mark of 92 and LUV U WHATEVER is preferred. A prolific course winner, he should have the beating of Brassbound on these terms and gets the nod.
