Verdict

A small but competitive field for this nursery with the hat trick-seeking Back At De Front, the consistent pair of Hello Roberto and Blue Power and Jamie Osborne's duo of Charliesmydarling and Fission all having claims and the vote goes to the last mentioned Fission. Claimed out of Sir Mark Prescott's stable after winning at Wolverhampton in August, the daughter of Efisio showed plenty of speed that day and is taken to make all the running over the minimum trip today. Stablemate Charliesmydarling has yet to win a race but looks to have a favourable mark for his debut in this grade. The same cannot be said of Hello Roberto, who looks to have plenty to do off as mark of 77 and, while the lightly raced Blue Power has to be respected, a bigger threat may come from Back At De Front. The daughter of Cape Cross has not been seen since winning a nursery at Kempton in July but if fit enough for her return she has claims. However, there was plenty to like about the way that Fission won last time and she is taken to follow up on her first start for Jamie Osborne.
