Verdict

CARNAC is not the most prolific as far as winning is concerned, but this is less competitive than the 1m6f race here on Tuesday in which he finished second. Alan McCabe's charge gets a tentative vote to confirm running with Mecox Bay and go one better. Well beaten at Dundalk in September, Irish raider The Ice Factor has since scored over hurdles and could figure on his Fibresand debut, but it's hard to make a serious case for the remainder unless Time To Play improves on his earlier efforts at this track.
